![]() If you do buy another disc make sure you register it on origin. If they won't give you the download you would unfortunately have to repurchase ITF. You would have to contact them directly to see if they are willing to give you a download of ITF. If you never registered the CD and don't have proof of purchase. ![]() I said I didn't have the code, only the case. The download version code will match the cd game code When you register your game cd on origin they give you a free download. I do have the ITF CASE if that is what you mean.ĭo you have the game manual with the code on it? I don't know that they would give you a free download if you don't have proof of the box and code. Do you have the ITF box at least? might be worth a try to contact EA/Origin customer service and hopefully you may get a customer rep that is sympathetic with your dilemma I have also cleaned the disc many times but this also does not seem to be the problem.Kinda of a costly lesson to make but for next time if you are on the website go to my page > my account > register a game and then they will ask you for the key the game came with. I have also tried taking out and putting the disc back into my disc drive multiple times and I have also inserted DVD discs into my disc drive to check if the actual drive was the problem but it works like normal. ![]() ![]() It just really frustrates me that this has happened and I have no idea how to get the disc to work again! I am quite scared about uninstalling Into The Future in case the disc doesn't work and I can't get it to install again even though I did buy this game at a legitimate gaming shop (I'm in the UK and I bought it from GAME). My Sony Vaio laptop has all the right requirements to run The Sims 3 considering I have all expansions and stuff packs as well as the base game and I have had no problems whatsoever in the past. Please enter The Sims 3 Into The Future to play" even though it is in my disc drive. Even when I load up The Sims 3 launcher and press the play button, it just says "No Disc Found. However, over time this has gradually gotten worse because now when I enter the disc, it just beeps and clicks a few times in my disc drive before it stops spinning and doesn't load at all. When I first bought the game, each time I entered the disc it worked as normal and I could play The Sims 3 at once. ![]()
